Does anyone know interesting places to visit in Erie, PA?

My daughter is starting at Mercyhurst College in the fall, and I see a lot of Erie in my future.

There are some terrific lighthouses in Erie, like the Erie Land Light. If that isn't your style they have great cultural events like a philharmonic and ballet, as well as museums.

I would definitely visit lake Erie and marvel in nature's bauty.
