The Old Courthouse has tours where they let kids act the roles in recreating the Dred Scott trial.
The original trial took place in the Old Courthouse, and Dred Scott actually won his freedom. Until a higher court overruled the jury and said he was still a slave.
The Arch is pretty cool. Expensive to go up in, but free just to wander around outside. The museum at the arch is free, and it has some pretty neat things. Lots of kids there and they seemed to like it.
Ted Drewe's is always popular, and concretes aren't real expensive. Although for seven it would run about $20.

The St Louis Zoo is free and so is Grant's Farm. My kids love to go to either of them. Walking around the Arch is cool. It costs to go up in it, but kids think it is pretty cool to stand next to it.
