There are places in New Mexico and Arizona where you can see forever. Also in the western half of Kansas, eastern Colorado, Texas panhandle. My favorite was New Mexico and Arizona. You could see farther and it was prettier.

Go to the library and find a topographical map of the US. Where you don't feel bumps, you will probably find flat land and broad horizons.
The Midwest and Southwest are you best bets.

Western portion of the Great Plains states (eastern Kansas, despite the map, is very hilly), as well as some areas of the Midwest (Illinois, etc.).

try montana or kansas or nebraska they have some of the least populated areas and are flat.
