Travel - 4 December 2007

I plan my vacation on Big Island next March. Want to spend about 10 day there: 2-3 days in Hilo, 1 night in Volcano park, then - the rest of vacation in Kailua-Kona. Any recomendations for good, budget condos in Hilo and Kona???

Can you go to the theatre the day of the performance and buy tickets for the same day? It will be on a Sunday afternoon. Or do yuo always need to go ahead of time?

I am looking to move in Paterson or Orange, New Jersey.

Are there other inexpensive cities in New Jersey on the NJ Transit train to Manhattan that are good for families???

I want to work in Manhattan. I tried this before but I moved to Yonkers and Mamaroneck and ran out of money and had to move out to Allentown, PA.
Please help with any suggestions how to make it this time and live right outside of NY. I am open to other city suggestions as well or borough suggestions- but I have bad credit also. :(

I moved to St. Louis recently and have noticed that many cars have personalized license plates with only four numbers on them (e.g. the plate just reads 2764 or whatever). A friend told me they're sort of a status symbol and I've since noticed they are usually on nicer cars. Does anyone know what exactly they mean, or how it started? Thanks!

I was sitting on a flight back to Phoenix from Seattle last night. There were only 50/170 seats booked, so there were quite a few open seats. I was trying to sleep on the flight and I was the only person within rows 23 - 27. I woke up when I heard a weird rustling when we were already in the air about halfway to Phoenix...It was an older man that had moved to the aisle seat of the row, across from me.

I kinda just shrugged it off and attempted to fall asleep again, and he somehow ended up in the aisle seat of my same row, so we had the middle seat between us. He grabbed me inappropriately, and it woke me up. I got mad and told him to go away, and not to touch me again. However, he didn't listen, so I tried to push past him. He wouldn't let me go past. I was afraid so I pushed the Flight Attendant call button. She came over and I told her I wanted to move. She told me I could move wherever I wanted to and walked away... I attempted pass the guy again and he held me back again...
