Depends who you take, but they're all going to have at least one connection--since there aren't any nonstops between Glasgow (or the UK, or Europe) and Hawaii.

Shortest scheduled connection currently is 20h, 20m with Continental via Newark. Last summer, Globespan flew Glasgow-Vancouver and connected with a smaller airline to HNL for under 20 hours total, but I don't know if Globespan will be back to Vancouver again this year. Sos... you should expect at least 20 hours flights+connection time.

You're looking at 7 - 8 hours to Chicago then another 8 - 10 to Hawaii so somewhere around 16 - 18 hours.

you cant fly directly but they normally go via LA or san francisco, which takes about 12 hours to get there, and a further 7 hours to hawaii. better get a REALLY good book!

If you take Continental Airlines, you can get there in 20 hrs flying time with only one refuelling stop in Newark, New Jersey.(EWR)
You will leave Glasgow (GLA) 0900 and get to HNL 1031

about 8 hours to fly to JFK in NYC then another 12hrs to Hawaii OR about 10hrs to Houston and 10hrs to Hawaii
