My husband and I are going to Vegas at the end of the month (we're both 29 yrs old) and we'll be staying at the Riviera. There are so many things to do and see in that town that our heads are spinning from it all! Can anyone suggest some Vegas essentials that we can't miss while in town??? (Shows, sights, attractions, nightclubs???)

You will never be bored in Las Vegas. Not only is it affordable, and very luxurious but full of activities. You don't have to gamble or have a lot of money to have a great time.

More stuff for you to enjoy that you could do in a month of Sundays!!!

Shows - Mystere or any Cirque de Soleil show - Love is hard to get tickets, Phantom of the Opera

Night Clubs - be prepared to pay cover and very expensive drinking - VooDoo Lounge - Playboy Club - Light - etc. Too many to count but great for your age group. Most open about 10 pm.

Local things that are fun - dinner cruise on Lake Mead, Ethel M Chocolate Factory, Springs Preserve

Other Fun - Madame Tressau, ride up Eifel Tower, rollercoaster at NYNY, Circus Circus adventure dome, Fremont Street Experience (downtown), Boulder Dam tour (half day trip)

Just remember, join every "players club" in casinos for things like 2/1 buffet, small souvenir, and invites back to stay there at discount rate

If you want to do something totally different in Vegas - like a horseback riding steak dinner, or off-roading on four-wheelers in the desert - check out the "Adventure Spa" at the Red Rock Resort and Casino.

Also, as you approach the Hoover Dam, there are helicopter tours that fly out of the Hacienda Casino - Helicopter flights start at a mere $ 29.00 !!!!!!

There are many things to do in Vegas! Catch all the free shows at the major hotels, like the fountains at Bellagio, or the risque show at Treasure Island. Make sure you see the White Tiger Habitat at the Mirage, Go to the top of the Eiffel tower and visit the Bakery in Paris Hotel, Ride the Gondola at the Venetian. See any of the Cirque shows, they will blow you away. Take your pick.

Check out all the freebies. The fountains at the bellagio at night. The pirate ship show at treasure Island, the shops at the forum in caesars palace. Then if you want to spend money on a real show then go for it. I also think that seeing Hoover dam is a must. And if you have time, go to Mt. Charleston and see some snow if you are from a warm climate.
