No one really lives there.
They are all robots.
Just like my neighbor Quagmire.

Vegas is part of the Mohave Desert. BUT I have lived here nearly 40 years and find the 100 degrees tolerable if you are not jogging in the heat of the day.

Must be a good place because there are now 2 million people in Clark County where Vegas is located.

Try living next to the arctic circle...it's -35 C, but -40 C isn't uncommon. It's snowing...this time last year we had about 5 feet of snow on the ground, so it's not as bad this year.

I personally love the hot climate. I was quite content hiking around the Sahara desert in Morocco. Hell, I could take 54C (129.2 F) and conquer it by hiking up a mountain!

I love las vegas temperature...I used to get so mad when I stepped into an air conditioned building...move to Canada if you want cold air all winter...

Some people just weren't made for heat, whereas, I just wasn't made for the cold. Granted, the current -30C is perfect, I'm just watching the pounds melt because I shiver all day.

If it was too warm to live in ... no one would be living there. The population in Vegas and Arizona is growing faster than anywhere else. You just have to get acclimated to the heat. It might be rough at first but in a year you actually prefer the heat because the cooler weather is uncomfortable. They say your blood thins. I don't know about that but it did take me a full year to get use to it.

It's a desert, hon. I lived in Phoenix for 8 years and I still live in Vegas (for over 10 years now). We are set in a valley. It traps the heat. But it's not "too hot" to live in if you are used to it. Plus, as we like to say, "it's a dry heat", ha,ha. The 1st summer is usually rough on someone new but after that, you start to adjust. That doesn't mean that you want to go jogging in 115-120 degree heat, but I have adapted.

Because it is a Desert. The extreme heat only lasts a couple months. right now(late fall/Winter) its highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. Cold. The rest of the time we have pretty good weather.

This answer is only for California. The weather here is pretty confusing. One day it's raining and freezing then one day it's 90 degrees. Pack half and half, both summer and winter clothes. Maybe some spring or fall clothes too.

Too warm to live in? So what are we doing here then?? I thought we were living...

lvgeno... I was going to say that!!! lol

If its too hot to live here we must all be what?? Dead?

And then why do we now have TWO MILLION residents???

Its hot for three months and the a/c's are on we're all cool and it only takes one full year of residence to get used to it.

So to answer your question.... why is it too warm to live in??
I cant really answer this intelligently bc you are asking the question as if NO ONE lives here but we do soo... oh nm!
