Yellowstone, if you are into nature. There is NO other place like it in the world. TV does not do it justice. New York if you are into the "Big City" or Chicago. Alaska for a cruise, again if you like and appreciate nature. However the #1 place before you die to see in the US is Hawaii. Beautiful beaches, weather, and unique. I have visited several times and love it. Try to go when it is not tourist season if possible it is very relaxing and more enjoyable. With our dollar being so weak you should be able to buy a lot. Enjoy your travels!!

How about Colorado? British Airways has a daily non-stop from Heathrow Airport. United Airlines will also soon be adding non-stop service.
If you come in the winter: A choice of 7 ski resorts all lie within a 1.5 to 2 hour drive from the airport. These include Copper Mtn, Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone, A-Basin, Loveland and Winter Park.
For late spring-summer:
Explore the Rocky Mountains! Rocky Mountain National Park is only about 2 hours from the airport. Do a river rafting trip on the Arkansas River near Buena VISTA. Check out some ghost towns (St.Elmo, Ashcroft, Independence). Visit an old mining town 10000 feet high (Leadville) See some sights in Denver: New art museum, aquarium, major league baseball game, natural history museum, shopping, restaurants. Climb a 14,000 foot peak (Gray's Peak, one hour from the airport).

You've been to some good places and not so goodplaces so far. i'm going to be cliche and sayNEW YORK CITY!!
It is amazing. it's just made up of contradiction like rich and poor; green and concreate; big and small; clean and dirty ; old and new ect. there are a billion smells never like you have spelt before. there are loads of galleries, museums and more so you dont even need that much money to do loads of stuff! and because there's always loads of flightly going over 2 NYC then its pretty cheap in general. There are lots of great hostels in NYC too. and cheap hotels.
Failing this: NEW ORLEANS
If new york didnt exist I would want to live here!!! It's like nothing you have experienced before. I wish i had gone before Katrina hit because I can't imagine just how awesome it would have been.

If you're a city person, I would suggest New York. It is amazing with huge buildings, famous sites and great shows. And its even better in the Christmas time because the huge Christmas tree in Rockefeller's Plaza is magical.
Or, If you prefer nature I would recommend Yellowstone. It feels almost prehistoric. And it is amazing. There is truly nothing like it.

Do you like the outdoors? How about Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming or Grand Canyon NP in Arizona? Both are just beautiful landscapes with unique geologic features...a must see in my opinion! Exploring the western U.S. culture in both locals is also a fun experience.

the persons who replied the protection ingredient of your question by using asserting that's no longer risk-free have not completed any severe trip overseas and have an exceptionally constrained perspective. The U.S. is an exceptionally risk-free u . s . truly conversing and that i could have no undertaking with my daughter vacationing alongside in the process the rustic as long as she used good uncomplicated elementary experience. do no longer go searching for worry and you may desire to no longer locate any. so a ways as the place to flow, as others point out, that relies upon very much on what hobbies you and how lots money you have. in case you like cities, truly visit massive apple and take a trip or 2 out of the city. long island and upstate massive apple are very superb. Niagra Falls could additionally be a stable area trip from NYC. the U. S. has a great number of organic splendor, and the common American trip includes packing up the family members and heading out to a countrywide or State Park. once you have an interest in organic splendor, attempt California or Colorado. California does "have all of it", in spite of the undeniable fact that it is likewise the main costly state to flow to. And, that's the main in comparison to something of the rustic. in case you elect to locate the "actual" united statesa., attempt flying right into a large airport, like Dallas, Atlanta, or Chicago and then come across some small cities that are close to by using. occasion, in case you visit Atlanta, you may evaluate the Appalachians mountains in Tennessee. in case you visit Texas, you may evaluate the Texas Hill u . s .. Or in case you visit Chicago you may evaluate Door County Wisconsin. all and sundry of those are beautiful areas of the rustic with large small cities to flow to. they are huge-unfold places for individuals yet very few foreigners get to work out them. The time of year does make a extensive distinction the place you go. in factor of actuality that there is a lot of large places to flow to. the main severe ingredient could be to no longer attempt and do too lots. come to a decision on one section and follow that.
