I want to buy a 15 or 17 inch laptop computer, and bring it with me during my airline travels; however, the salesman said that I can't have anything bigger then a 14 inch when carrying it on the plane. Is this true?

Whats the weather going to be like? When we are in Bangkok we are staying at the Grand China Princess is the GCP close to Pantip Plaza? or the MBK centre? and how cheap are clothes and shoes really, how much say for shoes in AUS dollars? What and where are some great things to see like temples and the like? most of our time in Thailand is in Phuket - patong beach - is it possible to book fishing tours when you are there as our travel agent could not book any for us? is it possible to hire motorbikes in phuket? whats the night life like? how much are the drinks. also any general tips about going to Thailand would be great. Also are credit cards accepted everywhere? how easy is it to withdraw cash? when you do withdraw money is it all in THB? Thanks!

Many people in my family & my friend's family used to be SO unfortunate & poor before the storm. Now after the storm, they've become fortunate enough to own cars & computers, get breast implants, & just straight BALLIN'! I know they misused FEMA's money. But my friend got chewed out by FEMA for buying a bed to sleep in with her FEMA money. Like WTF?! Where else was she supposed to sleep after losing her home in a disaster...on the floor?

I'm going to Scotland, Ireland, and England for two weeks. I know it is wet and mushy a lot of the time, so I was wondering if I should get rain boots?

The ones I'm looking at are for horse stuff, too, which would be good for me, since I ride. So, should I spend $70 on a nice pair? Or is it too much?

I'm going to New York on July 17th with my high school and I just wanted to know what overall to expect.

* How much will I most likely spend on lunch. We're not going anywhere fancy for lunch. [[Our Breakfast and Dinner is Included in Our Travel Plan]]

Salt Lake City Utah looks like a great layover location for a road trip I am planning, but I'm not finding anything worth stopping for. The tourists sites list only malls and musuems but I can shop anywhere in the US and the museums are not that unique. Is there any interesting attractions a tourist sites might not have listed that is worth checking out? I'm not planning to make a stay out of it so even if we just use the town for a hotel room one night, what is worth looking at to kill time?
