London is not dangerous; it has never killed anyone, never injured anyone, never assaulted anyone. In fact as an inanimate object it is unable to be dangerous.

GREAT PLACE TO VISIT.

No more or less dangerous than any other big city. Okay, so there have been a number of terrorist attacks in the past 2 years, but because of this, the city is now even better policed than before. Our anti-terrorist police are among the best in the world and prevent 4 out of every 5 planned attacks.

As for more general crime, the best advice to give is to take the normal big city precautions: don't carry valuables visibly, know where you bag etc is at all times, don't walk in poorly lit areas, take local advice as to which areas you should and shouldn't go.

I visit London regularly, and have never had any trouble or encountered anything dangerous. Come along and have a great time like the rest of the world does.

London unfortunately has been sharping up to become the most dangerous city in Europe. A lot of people have immigrated to London during the last years. There has also been a huge raise in the number of illegal immigrants , consequently that increases the number of unemployed people which will raise the violence level. I do not want people to stop immigrating to London or to any other parts on the UK, i just wish they'd got at least a job ,and saved money to support themselves in their new location.

London is ok but can be dangerous. What i suggest that you should do is visit National Statistics online or Google Crime stats of London and you will get loads of info about how dangerous London is. It has accurate, up-to-date records of crime that go from burglary to sexual-related crimes.

If you are referring to the danger from terrorists, then I would say, "Well there are safer places"! However you cannot allow those people to stop you doing the things you want to do, in the places you want to do them, Wouldn`t they just love that!? Be aware of the situation, otherwise `carry on as normal` In any case, you are far more likely to get mugged by a spotty teen-ager, than blown up by a terrorist! Be happy and optimistic!

Once you realise that something can happen to you at any time in any place, you just use common sense and London is actually one of the safer places in the world.
