I'm looking for moderately priced hotels with reasonable parking rates in a safe neighborhood.

-Under $250/night if possible...

Is that true that in England they don't refill your soft drinks for you at the restaurant when you sit down and eat with your family? If they don't do that, what happens? Do they charge you for a secondary drink then? Is it true that you don't leave tips to the wait staff? Here in America we give them at least 10 percent. It's customary. The reason for all the questions.....I have been playing Xbox 360 for a little while, and I have friends that I play with that are from England, and I have been playing with them for a long time, and now, I am getting ready to go to England for a couple weeks, and visit with a few of them. I want to know some of the customs when I get there, so that I don't look like a complete tosser. O, I was also told that I can't bring my Handgun with me, even though I have a concealed carry permit here. England isn't a very gun friendly country, i've been told. Anyway, I look forward to the responses. Cheers!

My boyfriend and I have decided to go to one of the sandals resorts next december. But it's really hard for us to know which one is best for us. If anyone has been to one (or more!!) please let me know what you think. We would like one that's not too expensive, but not the cheapest one either. I also like the idea of the exchange privileges. is that really worth it or does it take too long to drive between the different resorts (esp. in jamaica)? Which one is the most beautiful and paradise-like? Any info appreciated!

If I go on Sunday 03/11/07 to Monday 03/12/07 will I find the same amount of regular New Orleans Fun and Night Life than if i go from Saturdaty 03/10/07 to Sunday 03/11/07??? Thats Spring Break. I'm going to Paris & London this summer and I'm really confused by the way the Euro and the Pound works.. Do they have change like we do in the US? I m US Permanent Resident (I have a Green Card) and valid passport of my country, Im planning to visit L.A and I have a friend who live in Tijuana.
