Take a bus, preferably Auto Bus because it is the only bus liner which offers daily trips from Manila directly to Banaue. Auto Bus station is located in Dimasalang, corner Laon-Laan, Sampaloc, Manila. Tel. no. is (632) 735-8096. Bus fare as of Feb. 5, 2007 costs P462.00. It has one daily trip which leaves at 10pm and reaches Banaue at around 6am.

If you can't make the night trip, on the other hand, you may take other buses (Victory Liner, Dangwa, etc.) bound for Isabela (Ilagan or Santiago), Kalinga Apayao (Tabuk), or Cagayan Valley, but be sure to get off at Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. Travel duration from Manila to Solano takes around 7 hours. From Solano, you may take mini bus or jeepney bound for Banaue. Travel duration from Solano to Banaue is around 1 1/2 hour.

You will love Banaue. Especially if you arrive there by dawn. Rice terraces looks like a beautiful painting come to life. And since you are already in Banaue, you may opt to proceed to Sagada. That's Philippines' little heaven here on Earth :-)

are you referring to banaue st in quezon city? if so from manila take a jeepney ride plying to route quezon avenue (going to project 7-8 or lagro or fairview) then ask the driver to drop you off at banaue. But if referring to Banaue in Mt.Province all of the above are correct except for the donkey one.

the dangwa buses located at dimasalang where the flowers are have a trip that goes directly to banaue.
other buses would be autobus located at morayta in manila near mcdonalds, they also have a trip that goes there everynight i think.
victory buses also have trips going there. ( 2 bus staions) one along espana manila, infront of UST and one in kamias, quezon city.

or if you want some cutting trips.take the buses going to solano, nueva vizcaya then from there, you can have some buses or jeeps that goes to banawe or lagawe.

emmanuel bus which comes from tabuk every morning except sundays passes by at solano, nueva vizcaya around 12nt. that goes directly to bontoc,mt province but passes along banawe or lagawe.
have a nice trip..
