Am about to migrate to Oz and I currently work as an IT Manager - can anyone tell me what IT skills are mostly in demand. Which skill/s will most definately get me a job? Plus which cities would you recommend for me to settle in? I have already searched sites like seek.com.au - what am really looking for are answers from everyday life/personal experience. Looking forward to some informative answers......

I am going to be going to Vancouver and Victoria for a few weeks soon. I live in Winnipeg and have mildly dry skin (as long as I put moisturizer on after a shower I am totally fine) and I am wondering if I will need to worry much about this. I have been to Orlando, Florida and I didn't need to put on moisturizer due to the relatively humid climate, and I am wondering what the humidity in Southwestern BC is like compared to Florida and Winnipeg.

Born and raised in San Jose, Ca. Love being close to camping, skiing, beaches, San Francisco and Napa. Husband and I are still young (at least we feel young) and like to go out dancing from time to time.
We own a home and are making it, but we can't seem to get ahead financially. We are thinking of selling our home, taking the equity we make to Round Rock and buying a house cash. My husbands salary will go from about $140 a year to about $60 a year, but we will have no mortgage in Texas.
I am looking for the pros and cons about Austin/Round Rock. I have done quite a bit of research and know about the obvious cons like the weather, property taxes are higher, no mountains/hills and it's not as diverse as the Bay Area. I am ok with all of that but don't want to be shocked by any major differences.

I would really appreciate any helpful feedback! Thanks.

I'm going to Europe for two weeks in august. Where should I go? I don't want to stay anywhere for more than 3-4 days. Let's say I flew into Madrid for day 1 and out of Amsterdam for day 12, where should I go in between?

I should add I'm above all age requirements (drinking, smoking, etc) and plan to ride rail for city to city.

I am planning on moving to Spain from NYC. Im an American, lived only here, but I need a change. Considering moving in a few years (3 or so).
