We are frequent visitors to France and want to know how much a 10 litre box of wine (the bag in the box type) actually weighs in Kg so that we can bring some back on the plane. We will need to check it into the hold as no longer allowed to carry it on board as hand luggage.

i am american i flew swiss air and this lady comes by, takes a look at me and decides which language to address me in ( german , french or english). he chooses english correctly. comes to collect the trash. says, rubbish? rubbish? i was like what´s she complaining about, then realized teh literal meaning of the word, and deposited my trash. would most americans know what to do?

I have to get an early morning flight from Gatwick South terminal and there is only one train I can get from my house. All being well, this will get me to the train station 20 mins before check-in closes. Is 20 mins enough time to get between the train station and South Terminal check-in (easyJet) whilst dragging a suitcase behind me?
