Do you have any information about Fragrance Hotel - Selegie in Singapore?

Me & my family are planning to go to Singapore next month and due to a tight budget we've decided to stay at Fragrance Hotel Selegie. Any info about the hotel?

We stayed there a few months ago, while it was nice and clean and in an ok location, beware of tiny sized rooms! There's nowhere to store your luggage in the room except under the desk. The bathroom consisted of a toilet and basin, with a shower nozel next to the toilet, my other half had problems remembering to remove the toilet paper from the bathroom before showering.. everything got soaked. Tiny rooms, aircon that was too cold and didn't seem to have a temp control, breakfast was included but not worth the effort and then the staff.. as unhelpful as anything. Even at the tour desk, asked how to get to the zoo "take a cab". Ugh. Anyway, long answer, sorry, in a nutshell, if you have to stay here it's ok, if not, try and find somewhere else.

For your info, Singapore's largest IT shopping mall, Sim Lim Square, selling lots of electronic products which you can bargain for great prices, is very near where Fragrance Hotel - Selegie is. And Bugis Street, a fashion-addict must visit place, with cheap clothings and accessories are sold. Both of these places are near the hotel and it is within walking distance only.

may i suggest the 7th Storey Hotel? its very convenient & have the old singapore feel to it.
selegie is rather out of place...but that's my opinion.
