Omaha is a little more upscale tha Des Moines,but both are low crime cities, I think Omaha has a better school system,and the tax structure is a little more favorable in Omaha...although it may be easier to find work in Iowa.

Iowa is the best according to my sociology teacher as well as my sister in law who is a probation officer out in California. My teacher lives here in Tucson so neither one of them could be favoring Iowa (since they live here) but BOTH have discussed opportunities and a desire to move out there.
