Some people say New York is one of the greatest, Paris is the "city of love"... what do you think?

I am a single mother of 3 young children and find myself wanting to move back out west. I currently live in Ontario and have for the last 7 years. A friend of mine suggested that I try Whistler. After a lot of research online, I find that I still can't come to a decision. Just so you can better understand, I will say that I do not ski, nor am I a mountian biker. I do however want to raise my children in a place filled with these types of activities.
If anyone could give me any kind of advice on this idea of mine I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
T.T.

As in.. if you owned a private jet, you couldn't just go flying whenever you wanted. I assume if you had a major ship you'd call the coast guard or something so they'd know you weren't someone foreign or whatever. or maybe i'm making no sense.
but if you get my question, help?

I am thinking about going on the Disney Cruise with my son and husband in Oct. I have never been on a cruise and would like to know what to expect, how fun it is, how it all works. I have been on the Disney Cruise website but, I would like to hear from people who have actually been on it.

Hello all and thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I'm looking into a honeymoon for my fiancee and I after our wedding this August. We live in Minnesota and are interested in some nice beaches and some scuba diving in a romantic setting. While we typically are pretty adventurous, I think we'd like to stick to something relaxing and safe here. We want to try someplace new so that rules out Cancun and Cozumel. I want to spend about $3000. (does that sound reasonable?)

I've been looking a bit at the Dominican Republic and some of those other islands down there, but am a bit nervous that August is around hurricane season. We plan to be gone for about 10 days so we need someplace that has a bit more to do than just lay on the beach. Things we'd like are:

- Romantic
- Scuba Diving
- Snorkling
- Nice weather in August
- Good price
- Great Beach
- All inclusive
- Relaxing
- Near other activites
- Great nature

Thanks!

We are wanting to take our kids away camping for the weekend. Relaxing, a little fishing and canoe hire or free canoes would be a bonus!!...Showers and toilets would be nice but not a must, I know it is a big ask but is there such place?? Sticking 1 or 2 hour's radius of Brisbane would be great too. Anyone know anywhere like that? :)
Thanks

I am going to study abroad this coming school year in England. From what I've heard, hostels are the best and cheapest way to travel in Europe. This is a completely new concept for me, so does anyone have any helpful advice about hostels? Are there certain rules of thumb about them? Are there some that should be avoided? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!!!

I want to know what kind of relation between assyrian and syrian, i think assyrian is a wider conception, but why are they written in a similar way? Is it because sun letters with definite article assimilate and double the consonant?
Can you write down the two words in arabic?
Thank you!!!

My son moved to Taiwan a couple of weeks ago and left his 7-month-old, 8-pound Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese mix with my husband and I. My allergies are kicking up and I need to ship the dog to him in Taiwan. How do I get started? What do I need to do?

Of course lots of people say england is expensive, because of the strong pound. But do english people think the same? after all you earn in pounds, it shouldn't feel expensive, or is it? do wages compensate the cost of living there? Can you afford to live in a good apartment without sharing, go out, and save money for the future?
