Yes. Israel is gorgeous all the time, but in may you'll hit the spring which is especially spectacular here. The weather is perfect (most days - not when there is a heat-wave), the skies are blue, the sun just kisses you, and the earth is waking up after the rainy winter. The rivers are swollen from all the rain, the flowers are blooming in brilliant reds and yellows. If you're lucky you can still catch the snow on Mt. Hermon.

Sounds good - but it might be easier if you flew!
PS Look out for the Labuvitch stand in Tel Aviv Airport.
You can lay teffilin there.

I would say William that you wait till June-July.
Its going to be warmer then and you will have the chance to enjoy it more.
