I could only get info about hard liquer and tabacco. If you don't know about South Africa . please tell me about other countries custom laws concerning beer.

I think it's one liter. I took a tall can to SA on my kast visit and no-one even checked.

I'm not sure about this, but SARS limits spirits and other alcoholic beverages to 1 liter per person according to their website. Follow the link http://www.sars.gov.za/ to read more on this. I suppose beer falls under "alcoholic beverages". I went to South Africa in December and took 2 sixers Korean beer and 6 small bottles of soju. And I had no hassles at customs.
