Well, as far as the horses go, if you're moving somewhere rural it shouldn't be a problem, but you're going to have a hell of a time finding a horse in the Denver metro area! (Unless you sign up for riding lessons, that is.) You could try out for a horse-riding group we have here called the Westernaires. It consists of a bunch of girls about your age who wear pretty costumes and ride horseback at parades, etc.

Compared to NH, we don't really get nearly as much snow on average as you guys do, but you may have heard we've had a bit of an unusual winter, and we have gotten like 6 feet of snow or somethng like that. It still hasn't melted yet, but it's starting to. Right now, the temp is around 50 for the high each day, but it does get really cold really fast when the sun goes down, so bring a lot of warm outerwear.
I think you'll find that Denver is a really cool city. We're a lot bigger than most cities in the US, but we still don't have that big-city vibe that NYC and Chicago have, so we're sort of comparable to Dallas, if you've ever been there. The kids here wear mostly jeans and tops, and leggings with cute little ballerina shoes are really in this year. Some of the kids dress emo (do you have that in NH? With skinny jeans and Vans and whatnot?) We also have a statewide obsession with Uggs and Crocs (if you don't know what they are yet, you'll find out!) It's a nice place to live- a little less nightlife than I'd like, but a really fun place to be in general. Welcome, in advance!!!

. I live in Castle Rock, Co. about 20 miles south of Denver. I have an 18 year old son.The clothing styles for teens are not any different than any where else in the country. The weather is alot beter here than NH. I have a sister who lives in Dublin, NH.You'll love it here. This whole area is horse country. Check out

i'm actual doing the comparable situation ideal now, shifting from Southern California to Colorado. We have been debating on shifting to the two Portland or the Denver section and desperate to go out to Colorado. We settled on Westminster, it extremely is a stable city with plenty to do. shifting from Southern California the cost is way less and jobs are nevertheless stable. Being ideal in between Denver and Boulder is a significant plus giving upward push to quite some events. the closest ski lodges are merely exterior an hour, and because you're on the NW part of the city it extremely is closer to the Mountains. desire that enables!
