Travel - 31 January 2007

So we're taking a daytrip to the O'Hare area to go shopping cuz my BF said we could go/do whatever/wherever we want on Saturday, since the Superbowl's on Sunday. However, I don't want to shop all day, and want to incorporate what he likes into our day. He doesn't like museums. He likes sports, but not any Chicago teams. Help?!

Hi..

This past holiday season I did enter lots of sweepstakes and I entered my phone number on most of my entries, and this is where i got the voicemail from..
But I don't know if any of them were called "accademy one" and i dont really remember a 3 day cruise to the bahammas with airfaire..
Does anyone know what Academy one is?
I think thats what it said..

She gave me this toll free number to call, and a confirmation code.. she said they can honor that for 24 hours.. but she didn't call from a toll free number..

What do you think of this?

ive always wanted to be in the pageant but i know that one of the requirements is to hold a HK id or be at least a 2 year resident of HK. how is that possible? how do girls (from the USA) enter this pageant? Im 24 and close to 25 soon and dont want to miss out on a chance to participate if I could have the opportunity/meet the requirements. I live in atlanta. my chinese is not bad and im confident that i could do well in it.

I know it's a bit specific... but someone on the internet must know!
I need a hotel in Athens, Greece either in or near the Plaka...
Around $200 us a night (less would be better!)
and we need to be allowed 5 people in a room, connecting double and triple rooms would be ok too but it would still have to be in the price range for both rooms total.
An apartment would be ok too, and if you know of a really good hotel a little over $200 a night tell me!!

My conviction is two years old. This was a federal offense. I served 5 months at a camp and 5 months house arrest. The offense was white collar. I am very interested in working in Asia. I have a Bachelors in accounting and a Masters degree. (I know I would not have a chance of getting a job in Japan, but what about Thailand, China or Cambodia?) I found a job in Thailand that I believe I would be perfect for. Thank you for your input.

I am a Canadian citizen, resident of the US. I had to get a new passport unfortunately at the same time as everyone else suddenly needing one. My application is delayed beyond my planned trip to Canada for work. Can I go to Canada without my passport then have it sent to me while I am there so I can reenter the US? I have a drivers licence and nothing else (my birth certificate is with my passport application).
