ive always wanted to be in the pageant but i know that one of the requirements is to hold a HK id or be at least a 2 year resident of HK. how is that possible? how do girls (from the USA) enter this pageant? Im 24 and close to 25 soon and dont want to miss out on a chance to participate if I could have the opportunity/meet the requirements. I live in atlanta. my chinese is not bad and im confident that i could do well in it.

You answered your question. "hold a[n] HK id or be at least a 2 year resident of HK". It's possible if you're a permanent resident of HK, or a citizen.
If you're in Atlanta, it's obvious you're kinda outta luck with the latter. If you have a HK ID/Passport, then maybe a search on the web will give the entrance requirements.

Well, that's the whole point. A Miss HK. If you are not a HK citizen, then how can you enter such contest?? It is like a HK girl entering Miss Amercia!
Whether or not you are chinese has nothing to do with it. You need to be a HK citizen.

you don't apply pageant of Miss Hong Kong, but you can apply Miss Overseas Chinese Pageant(ä¸è¯å°å§ç°ç大賽).
