ferry ride across to many walk across the peninsular ( walk away from teh ferry and you will run into the sea and eat lunch watching the ocean,
river cat to parramatta
train to the three sisters
paddys market
lunch at little italy in norton st liehardt
walk throuh teh botanic gardens, accessable from the opera house
train to bundeena then wlak through the national part
lunch at watsons bay
yum cha at marigolds near central and wlak through china town
ferry across to teh zoo
hot aor balloning
4 wheel drive bus through the megalong valley
li loing through a canyon

deep sea fishing
side trip to the hunter by train take a horse drawn wagon through the vineyards and get maggot
explore the gun emplacements at middle head
hire a dingy and putter around the harbour
hire a sail boat and do it in style
champane and prawns at mrs mcquarie's chair one evening

I think you have to go to Kings Cross and check out the nightlife. (But be careful with your handbag) Also, there are areas of Kings Cross which are super cute in the daytime (treelined streets with little shops). You can stop there for a coffee and some cake and just watch real Sydney-siders passing by.

You have to go out for some cocktails as well. There are loads of great bars in Sydney (not pubs, but cocktail bars). This is what I do when I go up to Sydney.

Also, the smaller suburban beaches like Coogee are cute and very authentic.

go outisde sydney. Dee Why is a great suburb, Coogee is nice in south. I love Wollongong. it is around 80km from Sydney http://www.living-in-sydney.com/

I dont like sydney and find there is nothing FUN to do there
