We are going to Oahu in March, & would like to kayak to the sunken island off Kane'ohe Bay.
Also, where is a good place to snorkel, & should we rent or buy the snorkels & fins, or take a boat out?

I'm going to study abroad in Amman next fall and my Turkish boyfriend keeps warning me that it's going to be a huge culture shock (I'm a 19 year old american girl, btw). Does anybody have tips about the culture or society of Jordan? For instance, at first I was thinking about studying in the UAE and the brochure mentioned things like how homosexuality is extremely taboo and never discussed, are there certain taboos or attitudes of Jordan that I should be aware of? Do women have to be covered or accompaignied by a man at all times? (I don't think that's true but my bf keeps telling me that) And what are some cool places to visit? Thanks!

Are people allowed to take photos on an airplane? Does anyone know for sure if we are allowed to or not? I am going on a trip this friday and I was just wondering if we are allowed to take pictures of like the clouds, and when we are close to landing, of the ground. I know that we use to be able to but, with the new security restrictions and everything.

Hi,
Im 19, english and living in england. My sister is 28, american and living in england. My sister was born in America and has lived in England for most of the life. This technically makes her a US Citzen, right?
So i'm correct in saying that she can sponsor me to get a permenant living and working american visa?
Does she have to be living in america for her to sponser me?
I have got the I-130 form to fill out. Is there any other forms i need?
I also read that it will take about 10 years from applying to actually getting the visa? is this correct?
I have previously had a J1 visa working at the Disney Florida resort, and am currently applying for another J1 visa for this summer, will this affect my application?
There are many legal websites offering help with the application, is this needed because the price is very high!!

I vote New York;

Less Smog

Lighter Traffic, even though Long Island has suburbs spanning 80 miles away, and over 2 times the population of L.A. The reason is that most people in the suburbs work within the Suburbs, New York City's main CBD, spans across a large Island. There is also a second CBD, Downtown Brooklyn. The main reason why NY has better traffic is due to it's railroad system.

New York isn't nearly as polluted as L.A

New York has 3 major skylines, and two across the River, Hackensack and New Jersey.

More Jobs, unfortunately due to L.A. close proximaty to the border, illegal imminigrants took a lot of jobs.

New York actually has 4 distinct Seasons.

More things to do like better entertainment, nightlives, shopping choices.

Not as much stuck up people as L.A., if by any chance you like to be around stuck up people, you can go out a few miles east, to the Hamptons.

New York's Beaches are good, but not as good as L.A.

What do you think is the main cause of inhouse fighting between iraqi's, palestinians, and lebanese? Do you think that the main reason is that illetracy is high? Shouldn't thier governments pay more attention to their education, make sure that they are all go to school before getting out into the real world? I believe an educated individual will not make the choices that these people are making right now, especially the hate for their fellow countrymen.
