Maidstone (a town) is in Kent (a county) and Herts is Hertfordshire (another county).

Maidstone is the county town of Kent and not Canterbury as many people think. I don't really understand the question if I have answered it foolishly. Sorry

no,Maidstone is in Kent,and Herts is short for hertfordshire,and is a completely different county.

if you hean hartf... thenthey areall in same area but mean differnet things herts or hart... is winnie poo country and that is kent but not maidstone
kent is a very large area
