My two daughters and a friend will be 'doing NYC' this friday night, and I am VERY nervous about it. We are not from the NY area and will be there for the weekend. They want to do their own thing Friday night and I would like some suggestions on what areas they could go to to have some fun, and be safe. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Well I have no choice to take an airplane since I'm moving from Pittsburgh, PA to San Diego, CA and my dad is getting a job down there. My parents are driving and want me and my sisters and brother, neice and nephews to fly down there. I am very scared. So is my sister that is why she wanted me to come down there on the plane with her. I'm scared of heights alot. I would take a train but my dad is on one and he said that he can't take a shower for 2 1/2 days!!! I can't do that, smell my odor, plus someone elses.


Any advice for airplane fear?

I will be in Amsterdam in April and May on business and travel, but I've been thinking about moving to Europe on a more permanent basis, and I would like to know which areas in Amsterdam I could rent a really nice apartment in a safe area, and which areas to stay away from? I'm figuring around $2500/month for rent, can I get a nice apartment for this amount and in which areas would be the best?

I am wanting to surprise him in th fall of 2007 with a trip o Tuscany Italy for our 1 year anniversary. However I am not sure if the best way to travel is via a tour guide..such as Perillo tours, or rent a villa and a car to see it on our own. The itenary is for 12 days. Advice is appreciated. I would choose for myself Washington, DC and luckily that is where I live. I love the transit system and the size is right of the city, not too small not to large. It has pretty much everything someone could want within its boundries. The crime areas I could do without but then i stay away from them. And my neighbors (politicians) are an issue but then I get new ones every couple of years.
