-US passports given to palestinians so they leave Israel.

-US passports given to some lebanese citizens in exchange for goverment control by Israel to enforce "gestapo" type police to get rid of hamas. After hamas is gotten rid...goverment goes back to lebanon and some citizens get US passports (lottery maybe).

-Northern lebanon becomes part of jordan to prevent terrorists from syria and iran from coming in to lebanon.

Think about it, I live near there, and it seems to be getting better and better, its already hit its worst during the 67 riots, it can only get better, i mean with superbowl 40, wrestlemania 23, and the world series tigers, It has to get better, what do y'all think? When do you think it will be a nice city again (Year)? I think in the next 5 years it will be turned around drastically for the better.

Hello, I'm travelling tomorrow, from Calgary to Vancouver through Air Canada, then Vancouver to Hong Kong and Hong Kong to Manila through Cathay Pacific.

How do I know if my luggage will be transferred automatically? Or will I have to do it especially in after my first flight since I'm flying a different airline?

I'm thinking no, because some people say that it is possible to ask for your luggage to be checked in all the way so that you don't have to worry about it. So that must mean that normally I would have to transfer it mysefl right?

Would you suggest I ask that my baggage be checked from Calgary all the way through to Manila??

Also, I only have about 1hr 30 mins from when I arrive in HK to catch my flight to Manila, is that enough time?? I arrive early morning, 730am, so it might be busy...???

Yikes, it's my first time travelling alone and I'm scaaaarrreeed....!!!

We would like to be somewhere friendly and with plenty to do for both us and the children who are toddlers. But we would like for them to go several years for a montjh or more. Also if they could learn a language while practicing their english it could be great.

According to my Thai friends they say there are some legitimate shops here. There are wholesalers here. I visited them. They seem professional (have business cards...which obviously does not mean they are legit but it is a good sign). They seem very organized as well.

Also, not knowing much about silver I do not know what I am getting myself into! - leaves me vulnerable. Obviously I trust these shops much more than street vendors!

I'm a twenty-something single guy on Oahu for a week by myself. I'm wondering what would be a good area to hang out and enjoy the beach. It would be nice to be in near other young people, especially single girls. Is there a fun youth oriented hotel/hostel on Oahu? Cheap is always good too!
