I'm a twenty-something single guy on Oahu for a week by myself. I'm wondering what would be a good area to hang out and enjoy the beach. It would be nice to be in near other young people, especially single girls. Is there a fun youth oriented hotel/hostel on Oahu? Cheap is always good too!

you should stay in waikiki area, there are a lot of hotels there and clubs and the beach is right there. just check up online and you'll find a cheap hotel, try the hale koa hotel or the ohana hotels.

Waikiki would be great for you...lots of young people, right on the beach. Do your research though, alot of those hotels have roaches and such. It may be worth it to pay a little more...stick with a name you know. We stayed at the Radisson, about 3 blocks from the beach. It was really nice. We got a great deal on Expedia, try looking there.
