Yes, you can fly from Beijing to Tibet.
The planes are perfectly safe - I havent heard of any plane crashes in China.

Yes, you can fly from Beijing to Lhasa. Actually I just have some clients came back from Tibet. I will recommend you to fly Air China, which is the biggest airline in China and has a good record. It is about 5 hours flight cross country and most time you will have one stop in Chengdu.

My clients said they enjoyed the trip to Tibet very much! The scenery is beyond extraordinary and the culture is so amazing! It is truly a place that you shouldn't miss in your life time!

Yes, you can fly from Beijing to Lhasa with Air China, it will cost you between ¥1700 and ¥3700 one-way depending on availability of cheap seats. Air China has a good track record, but if you want to check for yourself, something I never do myself, check the link below.

i went tibet last oct....the flight ok..no problem with that..
