Travel - 14 August 2006

I am travelling up from London by car. The game is against Greece tomorrow and kick off is 8pm. I plan to arrive in Manchester around 4.30pm and would be grateful of any help and advice on where best to park so I can have a good chance of leaving the ground and getting back on the road home quickly. I will be in the North stand.

I am moving back to Fairbanks, Alaska and I have heard rumors that we have to have passports to get thru Canada. I only had to use my Military Id When I went thru back in 2003. Please let me know I am just passing thru to go back to Fairbanks. Is there A ferry I can take instead of driving all the way to Fairbanks,Alaska from Tacoma, Washingtom.

I have read 2 bad reviews on a hotel I am going to next year which is putting me off. Should I take other peoples experiences to heart or find out for my self? Things could have improved for next year, and this year is the first they have accepted english customers so it could be teething problems I guess. What you think?????

whenever i went to a nightclub in china (not a sex club, just a normal nightclub where guys and girls go to drink and dance) there was always this row of beautiful young women wearing really elegant evening gowns and holding what looked like menus. i wasn't really sure what these women do. i think you are supposed to pay them to spend time with you at the club or something. does anyone know if they also work as prostitutes? this being china, i wouldn't be surprised (they seem to have prostitutes everywhere, and it's never very discreet)

why does it take such a long period of 100 days plus to get an interview date for american visa. i have visited america earlier still if i want to again i have to wait for such a long period. there should be a different process for those who have visited america earlier.
