It's really very relative :)
I came to live in Sweden in winter, from New Zealand, and it was -5-10C at the time. I thought I was going to die of cold, and wasn't warm enough for months. Then when spring came and it was 5-10 over, I was running around in shorts and a t-shirt, it felt very warm.
In autumn, 5C feels very cold, and I put on a sweater, in spring it feels quite warm, and I am taking the sweaters off. By mid winter (when it might be -20C) and midsummer (when it's more like 30C) either way, I wish it was 5 :)
So I would say if you're coming direct from asia, and only going to be somewhere cooler for a while, you will probably need at least a sweater under that leather jacket. I'd recommend a few light cotton t-shirts and sweaters so you can layer them on and off as you need. 5C is not anywhere near needing ski parka's though.
As for the temperature, you'll have to narrow "Europe" down a bit. On the mediterranean, you'll probably still be able to swim in the ocean, up north, you can ski in the streets by then.

Beware of asking this question to Americans; 5 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit is indeed very cold (about -10C) and long underwear wouldn't be out of the question. 5 to 10 degrees Celsius (40 to 50F) is much warmer (and is the weather you can expect in much of Europe in October). I personally would be okay with just a leather jacket, but if you're used to much warmer weather you likely won't. Add a sweater or a fleece. Also, you'll want a raincoat; at least here in Zurich it rains all the time in the fall.

Heavens no, Mayatmar!! Think about silk long underwear, a layer or two of cotton and/or flannel, a wool sweater and scarf, and then, at least your leather jacket, if not something longer and more weatherproof.
I'm not joking! After a week or two, you're going to wonder how Europe pulled itself out of the frozen muck to be a major people.

Dude,
Even a normal long sleeve shirt is enough. It's not minus so nothing to worry. Some might even argue a normal t-shirt or short sleeve shirt would do fine.
