Anything goes. Do you think Eugène Terre'Blanche falling off his horse tops the SA cricket squads memorable chase of 434? That's ok. What about the kick from Joel Stransky during the last minutes of the Rugby World Cup Final in 1995 against Mandela taking his first steps towards freedom?

I don't mean to be racist or anything and i don't really want to go back to enforce an apartheid regime, but in the current terror threat, should all muslims be boarded on separate planes to wherever they're going?

I’m living in India – it’s almost six years now that I’ve left Europe for good – and I’m used to a life on bare soles: I haven’t worn shoes since December 2000 (with a few exceptions!) and I don’t think I’ll EVER imprison my feet again! I'm always barefoot: All-year-round, wherever I go, whatever I do. Most of my friends have never seen me wearing shoes… Living barefoot 24/7/365 I’m spending lot’s of time travelling, and I’m ALWAYS travelling barefoot. It’s an exciting experience to roam around without any footwear in my backpack, trusting in my leather-like soles toughened over many years. And it’s definitely the most environment-friendly way of travelling, especially if it comes to activities like hiking in ecologically sensitive regions (e.g. the Indian Himalayas)! For those of you being concerned about health issues: I’m living barefoot for more than six years now, and I didn’t face ANY problem – except having to remove a little thorn from time to time, but even that happens rarely! The mere thought that somebody out there enjoys travelling throughout India – and many other countries! - without ever wearing any kind of footwear (except one or two anklets and a toe ring!) might seem strange for some of you… But giving it a second thought you might even get inspired to give it a try, to experience the joys and the freedom of travelling - and living – barefoot. What do you think: Is travelling barefoot cool?

My husband and I have been wanting to get a short getaway but we don't have many ideas. Care to share with us any good place for short getaway and any good hotels in Singapore with affordable rates or promotion packages? Low budget for the getaway though. THANKS!

Just like the big air parachute used to stop the space shuttle. If such a parachute is there then the pilots in emergency can just shut off his engine decrease his speed and hang out in the air and land slowly on the ground. Passenger seats can be designed with full body harness and shock absorbers. I think it will be expensive but it will save a lot of lives.

Blackpool is tacky. It's good clean family fun, but i don't think it has the majestic beauty and history behind it to become a world heritage site. Maybe the tower though. it's instantly recognisable

I found one recently and now can't remember the name. You choose where you want to go and it brings up deals from different tour companies or independent travel deals like airline/hotel packages.

How are the tours there? Do you know any of the employees? Do you have any pictures or stories? I heard a few things about the place and people and was wondering.
