I don't mean to be racist or anything and i don't really want to go back to enforce an apartheid regime, but in the current terror threat, should all muslims be boarded on separate planes to wherever they're going?

No, because then you are putting the lives of the Muslims who are NOT terrorists in even bigger danger, just because of their religion, how is that fair?

If there was a mass murderer who was your religion who murdered people on trains would you want your religion only trains?

I think that some of the answers to this question, indeed the question itself is absolutely disgraceful. I understand and appreciate that everyone has the right to free expression, but with this right comes responsibility. Some of the answers to this question could be taken as incitement to hatred.

Some people posting answers to this question are assuming that because you hold a belief in a particular religion, that you agree with the actions of people who are of the same religion. This is not necessarily true. A person can SAY that they are of a particular religion, but if they do not adhere to the teachings of that religion, then surely, they cannot speak for the people who understand the true meaning of their faith.

Suicide is seen as fundamentally wrong in many faiths. My own religion has a commandment which says, "thou shalt not kill". A similar belief is held in the Islamic faith.

If people were willing to do a bit of research, rather than just listening to soundbites on CNN or whatever news station is piped into their homes every evening, then they would realise that just because a few people of a certain faith, nationality etc do something, it does not mean that everyone who belongs to that group agrees with what the few are doing. In fact, some abhor what they are doing in the name of their religion.

By the way, In case you were wondering, I am a practicing Irish Roman Catholic who does not, and did not believe in, or condone what the IRA were doing in the past. Do you get my point?.........

Get real guys! you're all paranoid or what...Muslims lke everyone else have always been taking planes and if it weren't for Fuel from muslim countries, planes wdn't take off!
so far only 2-3 planes have allegedly been blown out by terrorists.
see http://www.911review.org
So get logical guys you hav more chances of dying in an accidental plane crach then in a terrorist attack by Muslims.
And please please don't let yourself become the guineapigs of the current Threat policy of our gvnmt. The reality is that No bomb was discovered on any of the flights to the US! and anyone of us cd die tomorrow knocked out by a bus...actually there's more chances of that!

How ridiculous

OK all the terrorists we are currently dealing with are Muslims, but that does not mean that all Muslims are terrorists

Suggesting something as absurd as this is just fueling the divide these fanatics are trying to put in place

dont be so ridiculous!

anyway, as the previous writer said there is little chance of being on a plane that has been highjacked by 'islamic extremists'. as for the recent carry on with alleged bomb plots..........a little bit convenient in drawing our attention away from middle east situation. no charges have made as yet. so calm down!
