because NYman has not been around here i guess in the last 12 years and Heidi thinks it is a cruise ship. That is way i wanted people from the area. I am just sick of the 2 weeks of it. Yes i do like old cars but i dont want to see minivans driving down the street. if i wanted to see that i would sit on my front porch.

Dream Cruise (or idiotfest as my car club calls it) has fallen into the dregs of foolishness. The cars that people really want to see are those that the owners have an investment in Restored, classics, customs ETC. The Idiotfest has boiled down to every post adolescent fool who has leased a car parading through the public streets. If the idiotfest steering comittee wished to fix this event they would open Friday night to anything sat morning for cars 1950s back ... sat afternoon for modern 60s-say 85 cars when it's cooler, and Sun morning for customs. this would reattract the classics so that engine damage is not likely the old classics just were not designed for 5-10 MPH for mile after mile.

I don't watch the news really, I just read the newspaper so I dont hear much about it. I guess I just have a lack of interesting in hearing about it. I know it is this weekend and I may go but I do not hear things about it because I just choose not to. Maybe the hype is bigger in Wayne and Oakland counties. I'm in north Macomb so it may not matter as much here.

My brother-in-law lives 2 blocks from Woodward. He leaves the area because of the cruise.

My other brother-in-law drives 800 miles to be here for it.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Keep smiling!

WTF are you talking about?
Growing up in the Western Suburbs of Detroit, we used to cruise (IE drive around and check out girls and occasionally race) Telegraph Road and I knew that there was similar cruising on Woodward. However, I never heard of a dream cruise?????

it is so boring, the commercials. the fact that they try to sell it with only old people on the ship is worse. they should have young people advertising, but still, its stupid
