Travel - 18 August 2006

well i've booked a flight to the phils this october as a part of my semester break holiday. i made the decisions about a month ago, well:

1. i've been there in manila for 12 days last april and it's a terrible, horrible experience. i've been cheated by my then "girlfriend". we met online and i went to phils to meet her and she left me in limbo alone in manila after finding out that i'm not as rich as she thought and after i refuse to gave her money (she tried to extort me using various tricks but i managed to avoid it using various techniques).

now i think that i'm ready to go again but i'm confused. i'm afraid of being alone with memories will be play again when i', there. i dont want to be sad and alone thinking about what she did to me.i need to forget her and enjoy the vacation.

i dont know if i'll be able to enjoy the holiday without dumping the emotional baggage because of the wh0re. i dont want to be alone and should i proceed or cancel the trip and wait for 5 years??

I have a 5 years of experience in travel business. my company in Turkey wants me to start a travel business in NY, USA. we are thinking of arranging tours from USA to Turkey. I would like to know how to start a business like this and what sort of licenses I need. We have been an IATA member in Turkey for about 10 years. Ok people, I need your help. I'm in England, and my partner is flying out from California to spend a week with me. He's arriving at Heathrow. What I want to know is - can anyone tell me a good hotel/place to stay within reasonable travelling difference of Heathrow (he'll be jet-lagged for 36 hours) that is laid-back but great - we're both old hippies so we need to be able to kick-back and relax, and want privacy, a no news-no shoes kind of place to just spend some time together...it doesn't have to be cheap, but it does have to be beautiful...and if anyone knows of anything 'alernative', that would be just great. 10 points for the person who points me in the right direction. People have told me i have phsycic senses. I can dream about things & the day after all or at least part of it will come true & if i think about someone close they usually phone me within the next half hour. I know it could just be coincidence but i would like to try it

I'm travelling to Budapest, Hungary this week and as a student I want to make the most of student discounts, but I'm not sure if i should buy an ISIC card (internatonal student card) whch costs about £7 or whether i can use my normal university ID card or my NUS card. Does anyone know?
