Soon..I will be traveling to Bangkok, Thailand to teach English and attend school for about 7 weeks. I'm aware of course that I need to be very cautious of my steps, and I have been assured that my worries are limited, but does anyone have any advice or stories that differ that I might need to know ?

me and some friends are considering going on a walk for a few days somewhere in scotland. Anyone know agood way to plan routes and stuff like that? Like linking a few towns together so that we can walk to them over the course of a few days , which towns have walking routes between them up north? them all? as you can tell im an amatuer, i need a little help

I grew up, a missionary's daughter, outside of Taejon, Korea. The closest mountain peak near our little village was called Chicken Foot. We used to climb it all the time. Have you? What mountains have you climbed, Korea or otherwise?

Are the day tours the cruise line offer worth the cost and are they/were they pleasant for you?
Any particular tours you liked and why?
We (2 of us) are kinda thinking of just getting off the boat when it docks and finding our own adventures, maybe renting a car etc for the day and checking things out. Whatever. Being spontaneus. Is this a good way to do it or do you have any other insights/awarenesses or suggestions? Thanx!

I am planning a cruise vacation for December. Does anyone know anything about Norwegian Cruise Lines? I've been on Carnival and Royal Caribbean, but not Norwegian. The cruise would be on the Norwegian Dream that will go out of Houston, Texas. Is this a nice ship? Do they have good shows? How is the food? What are the cabins like?
