Hey, can anyone tell me what Academia in Spain is like, specifically compared to the US, if you can. I'm a grad student who will eventually be getting my PhD in Political Science. The problem is that I have an obsession with Spain, and I have to move there some day. So, if I can move there and teach in my field at the same time, all the better...

I've heard a few things about the University system in Spain before, mostly that they hire their own, and that Political Science programs are very qualitative, but I'd like to hear your opinions. ¡Muchísimas gracias!

I am wanting to move from Kentucky to a different state. Actually Florida for many reasons. I know I need to calculate how much to get me there, at least Which would be gas, a U-Haul and for food and drink. Cause I know on my vacation it took me $80 to get there. But also should I try to configure for a place to stay like an apartment to save up enough to last me a while, while I search for a job and enough for other expensese such as phone and tv, at least? I am not sure where to turn to, to really find out such information. If anyone knows of a site that could help me or can give advice, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

My husband and I are thinking of going to San Diego, CA for our 1 year anniversary. We want to go to SeaWorld and San Diego Zoo and to the beach. We can only spend about 4 days over the weekend. we plan on driving there. we think we wont waste more then 1,500 dollars with travel, food, bed and all. what do you think? should we go? or should we stay in Arizona and go to a B&B and have a romantic dinner somewhere. what should we do? should we go to San Diego? How is the weather like in July? where is the best Beach to go to? Please let me know ASAP. we must plan something soon. Thanks soooo much!

I need to get to Edinburgh from Stanstead Airport. Have found a very cheap flight, but to Glasgow (Preswick) instead. Is there transport from Glasgow airport directly to Edinburgh, or do I need to go into the city. Any idea how is easiest to do this trip and how much it might cost? Thanks!

My husband and I are considering moving there and want to buy a house/condo for about $350K. We'd probably be working downtown area and hope to drive to work, but the subway is acceptable if traffic/parking is difficult.

We've been looking on realor.com and found some places in Congress Heights, Deanwood, Anacostia, Randle Heights... but do not know anything about crime, proximity to city and subway, cost of housing, etc.

We're looking for a nice, safe neighbor which isn't too far from the city. (Maybe 30 min commute?) Close to conveniences but also not concrete city.

Thanks!
