Kemah Boardwalk, of course. Also...Galveston is a lot of fun. If you can afford it Moody Gardens Hotel is really nice (but don't eat there...go to the seawall and eat at Gaido's). Also...there are tons of wonderful bars and restaurants in Houston...only 20-40 minutes away depending on traffic.

We love going to the Kemah boardwalk for special dinners. There are several restaurants to choose from, seafood, steaks, Mexican, etc. After dinner stroll on the boardwalk, play arcade games, ride the Ferris wheel, or just sit by the water and watch the shrimp boats come in. In Galveston you can shop the boutiques on the Strand (historic area), walk on the beach, take tours of famous houses, or the Elissa (tall ship) Moody Gardens is a popular place with a rain forest, man made beach, IMAX movies, paddle boat. It is bit pricey, and very crowded, not much for daytime romance. At night though you might catch a musical there though. The productions are put on by college age students and we have seen very entertaining shows there. The venue is small and even the cheap seats are great. If you love seafood, Gaido's and The Fishermans Wharf are the best, if you like Mexican, Tortuga's in Galveston is the best.

Take a dinner cruise in Kemah. Go to South? Harbor hotel,, and spend the night.
Drive over to Galveston to the beach.. or into Houston.
Seabrook doesn't have much from what I can recall.

nothing really romantic. kemah is really a family oriented site. you can try sundance grill. it's a waterfront restaurant/bar with a great view. food is average and pricey for what it is though.
