I'm listening to WGCI online now and they're broadcasting live from the taste. I wish I was home,lol. Tell me about the food they had there this year. I have to live vicariously through my hometown peeps! What performers have been there or going to be there?

Dang Nostril_B, I'm jealous, Gotta have those turkey legs at the taste. Those collard green egg rolls sound good! Hubby is stationed in WA state right now, in the Tacoma area. I would love to be eating those turkey legs right along with u,lol.

i go every year a 3 times at least...i went the opening day (as usual) & to see india arie & anthony hamilton wed. great concert.....i always go twice for the food and once for a concert....i had elephant ears, garlic cheese bread, 3 different pizza, billygoat burger, 2 different tacos, meatball sandwich, greek salad, thai noodles, watermelon & lemon & blue raspberry italian ice, choc chip cheesecake, bailey's icecream, italian beef, spicy onion rings, chili, cheese sticks, fried ravioli, tempura vegetables........the first day i got a little sick, but it was worth it.....they have a few new joints this year....one is a cajun place that's right around my house....and they had a place where everything is dipped in choc. ..... my friend from NYC is coming in this weekend and i will be taking her.

Went today, still recovering from heat-stroke. They had a taste of a collard green egg roll. It was good, a little spicy. Robinson's Ribs was disapointing this year, the rib tips had a lot of fat, and no forks! There were some new chocolate places, I had a huge chocolate covered rice cripy treat-oooh it was sooo good! We had to get 2 turkey legs (good), and tried Greek fried cheese this year (ick). It was packed today, and super hot. Where are you?
