Me and my older brother were out duck hunting in the middle of a lake on a small island. It was cold and very foggy, and we had not seen many ducks for about an hour. So we were sitting there watching the skies, when I noticed a figure moving through the fog on the water. I looked closer, and I noticed that it had the outline of a mallard (remember its foggy, so I cant quite make out the creature). So I slowly got up and aimed at it, but my brother told me not to shoot yet. After a few seconds, the creature noticed me but it did not fly away. Instead, it slowly went under water, and thats the last we saw of it. My brother told me that he knew that the mystery animal was not in season, even though he did not know the name of it. Could you guys give me some information on this animal? Like mabey its name or type of duck? And if it helps any, I was hunting in northern Indiana.

I tried all year last year trying to trap rabbits. I can't manage to catch one when I know I'm trapping a good place. I'm using a box trap I can catch raccoons and squirrels in it but I really need help catching a rabbit. PLEASE help worth 10pts if you get it right =)

i am in tennessee.. the deer was born earlier this spring/summer.. it was shot on private property with no hunting signs all around.. it was shot early this morning... i know it is illegal to tresspass on this property, but i want to know the rules, regulations, and laws on shooting a deer less than 1 year old, with a shotgun on 11-11-07, in the state of tennessee, and leaving it where they shot it??? also if you can give websites showing this info, it would be greatly appreciated!! thanks!!

I'm thinking about getting my wife that .410/.45 colt revolver that Taurus is putting out. The Judge, they call it (which seems, to me, a stupid name for anything - but whatever).

She's a little concerned about the recoil from such a large caliber out of a 4" barrel and, having never fired one, I don't know what to tell her. I know it will be very different from my .45 ACP, but I need a comparison to something else.

Don't just say "it's not too bad" or "it's pretty stiff". Give me good, solid, comparisons please.

How do you feel about Kahr pistols? I have been looking at the PM9, P9, and the PM45. This is mainly just for target plinking and fun stuff. The reason I like the smaller pistols is because I have smaller hands and it fits me better. I've already got a 9mm and kind of want something bigger than that. The one reason I don't want the PM45 is because I've heard it was bulky, unlike the PM9... Can you give me some feed back on these pistols? Any experience with recoil from the .45?
