My husband is bugging me to crazy. He watches outdoors channel whenever he is actually indoors and goes on about how in the world would he see about getting in with one of the teams, he does anything hunting, and I tried the real tree and mossy oak sites just to glance. I don't know which he prefers actually, those are just a couple I know of.

Thank you for your not smart *** answers :)

any category, handguns, rifles, shotguns. i know that many of us have shot many different types of weapons before, and it may be hard to pick one that you liked best. but surely there is one that stands out to you, that you remember shooting and just having a great time.

best answer gets best answer. =)

Did you ever get suckered into buying an "All-the-Bells-&-Whistles" off-brand reel and found out you shoulda just stuck with the Big 3,(Shimano, Daiwa, Penn)?

I've stupidly, (to save money) , paid for & got "burned" by Okuma, Cabelas, Basspro, & (drum-roll) Pinnacle! I got a reel from each of these company's and it had an issue/issues either immed or right AFTER the warranty expired! (Arghhhh!)

Anybody else buy cheap fishing gear to save money and wish they had "gone with what they knew" to be good?

So I used to load my 12 guage with "reduced recoil" buckshot. You know the stuff, 2 3/4 in, 9 pellets of OO buck.

I just bought some value pack of magnum buckshot. Haven't tried it yet, but will soon. It's 3 inches, 15 pellets of 00 buck.

15 pellets seems like it'd be "that much better," what do people consider an acceptible trade off for more firepower against recoil?

State wildlife officials are investigating. Seems like, lately facts in ANY story, are very slow to come out !

I already own a couple .22's and a .410 but no pistol. I want something with some more recoil than a .22 but they say i don't need one. I've already saved up the money for at least a glock and a couple mags. I have been around guns for almost all of my life. How to convince?

Whats the most unusual fish you caught while fishing for another species? And what bait were you using?

Mine was trolling in Lake Jocassie for trout 50 feet deep over a 300+foot bottom ,using downriggers, a gold spoon , and trolling about 3 mph , I caught 2 carp one day doing that

This will mostly just be used for target shooting. The rifle will rarely be used for hunting. I am looking at the baby eagle 9mm and the ruger m77 compact. If I buy the baby eagle (compact model) I will save $100+ and can buy some accessories for it. If I buy the rifle I will need a scope and I do not have enough for it right now.

I am looking to buy an assault rifle for target practice, somthing with cheap ammo ie 5.56mm or 7.62. I was looking at the ar-15 but I want somthing that'll take down good sized game ie. white tales, should I feel the need to take it hunting. Another thing I don't really like about the ar15/m4 is the need to constantly keep it carbon free to keep it from jamming. Any thoughts??

Does anyone know how reliable a Sig P226 is when you feed it Hydra-shoks? I want something with more stopping power in .40 S&W than regular FMJ ammo, and I'd like to get some 155-grain hydra-shoks, but first I need to know that my pistol won't choke on it.

I'm looking for a job that deals with big game animals (deer, elk, etc.). Not a wildlife biologist or anything like that. I heard of a job where people hunt to help control the population in a certain area. Does anyone know more about this job? I am a big hunter and would like to work outdoors but nothing has a good salary, is there anything out there?

I fish for smallmouth bass at Hickman Creek all the time, and I normaly use a small 2'' white grub on a jighead and do very well with it, but I thought that I might try useing a Rooster Tail. What is the best size, color, and line to use. Hickman creek is a somewhat small creek in Jessamine county Kentucky and is almost always crystal clear thoughout most of the creek. it has moderate current in most spots with some slow areas. the swift current is usally about 4 to6 feet deep and has a mixture of alot of fist sized rocks with a few larger rocks. most of the rocks are a brown shade. I hope this is enough information to provide a very detailed answer.

I have a pink Kayak, and I am having the hardest time finding a matching life jacket. The best I've seen is black life vests with some small pink lining or whatever. Seriously! I can't believe nobody out there sells pink life jackets. Pink is the new black!
