YES.They "Deerly" love it. lol Especially if it is mixed with some type of whole grain .........Seriously..They do..You'll find that most all of the marketed Deer Attractants that are available today contain Molasses

Deer seem to like many different sweet items. Molasses is one of the things they seem to like. I have mixed sugar in with salt to make a salt lick because a friend told me that it was like super charging the salt lick. He was right. As long as the sugar lasted, they tore up the salt lick even more than usual. Many of the deer blocks contain molasses because the deer do like it. I guess in that way, they're a lot like us.

Yes, molasses, vanilla extract, even peanut butter can all work as deer attractants.
