What's up doc? I find carrots work well, I must admit that I have not tried apples. Scatter a few in the open to get them used to the taste and bait the traps with them.

Place an apple towards the rear of the box trap.* Then you wont have any trouble catching many rabbits.*

Rabbits are hard to trap. Use a bait they like. We have put in the traps a female rabbit that is in heat but that is only good for the males. Also you can use scents to attract them and we have had great luck with that but only until the scent is active.

you need to make sure the back of the trap is chicken wire or something they can see through or they wont go in the box. place apple slices or corn all the way in the back of the trap. make sure the trap is free from any blood or predator oders this too will keep them from going in the trap. goodluck
