I don't know where you can do it, like if there's a range type thing for it, but you don't need much room to learn how to do it. A back yard will suffice. I learned a few years ago, and haven't done it much since, but it's pretty fun. I would suggest that you get a stump of a tree, or a wide tree cookie, about a foot long, and maybe a foot and a half wide. Use this as a backstop. You could use a tree, also, but the cylindrical shape might throw it off a little bit, unless you hit the exact center. Make sure the wood cookie or stump about shoulder height, maybe a little bit below. This acts as the target, and backstop for the knife. If you would like, you can print out a target once you get better at aiming, and staple the paper to the stump. Then stand about 15 feet back, and hold the knife by the handle, at your shoulder, with the blade facing up, about ear level. It's all in the wrist, throw the knife at the wood cookie or tree so that it spins. It will take a lot of practice, and a lot of adjustments in distance and throwing strength, but when you get it down, the tip of the knife should drive into the wood.
Hope this helps!!
