is the legialization of cross bows for hunting is just a back handed way of taking guns away, making it so the liberals can tell us we dont need guns for hunting the next time a gun control bill comes up.??

Specifically clams for right now. The start up cost is minimal and the money's ok. *some folks are making $200 a day* Everyone I know keeps telling me how hard the work is. *like crawling a round crawl space basements installing hvac crap isn't hard work?* I've clammed before and it's not that bad. Plus, you don't have to deal with anybody giving you crap at work.

I just purchased a lower-end pair of Rollerblades- Astro ABT. I know that bearings can make a tremendous difference in skates. These came with what were designated only as SG5 bearings; even though I only plan on skating around my neighborhood, and am not super interested in speed at this point, would upgrading the bearings be recommended? I don't want to get frustrated by having to fight cheap, slow bearings if I can upgrade and get an better ride.

Some people I ask say yes, some say no...

The specs.....

.30 cal round - 7.62 X 33.... 110 grain (almost as heavy as a 25-06)

1970 fps muzzle velocity (about the same as a 30-30)

Rated to 200-250 yards then after that the rounds drops off significantly.....

Light semi auto rifle that you can mount a scope on.....

What do you think??

I'd like to purchase a semi auto rifle that is hard hitting, accurate, and extremly reliable. Military type prefered as they tend to take rough conditions better. My thoughts are an FN FAL or a Springfield M1A your thoughts?

I recently purchased the contents of a storage room at auction and among the contents were several boxes of ammo of various calibers. While I am a hunter and familiar with ammunition, I've never been in the position of needing to dispose of live rounds. I don't want to simply throw them in the dumpster as I could see several bad results coming from that. Any suggestion/ideas? Thanks.

Is there a difference between brands within these categories (when it comes to warmth and heat radiation that is)? Basically, if I show up in -30, or even -40, degree weather with a bag rated to -20, am I in a world of hurt?

I used to go hunting all the time but then I stopped when I was in the Army for 3 years because I was in Germany and it is almost impossible to hunt there. But after I got home I went turkey hunting and it wasn't the same I didn't want to kill the animals anymore.I mean If my family was starving I would.Did any one else ever have this happen to them.I still love to go shooting and collect guns. And I still like to eat turkey and deer.I think I am getting soft.

I have just recently had a steel plate put on my right collarbone to correct a bad break. I am an avid 3 gunner and I am a little concerned about returning to the sport. I don't think there will be a problem with the AR15 or the pistol. I am a little more concerned with the 11-87. Has anyone had this similar situation? If so, how did it turn out?

I have a nagant 91/30 rifle, I bought some 27grn. Ammo and (I love this stuff it makes a mess of your target) I did the rust test with a shell and a shovel and the next day it was rusty in the same spot I fired the shell (bullet and powder were removed) I want to know if I can change the brass/powder to make it non-corrosive (shells in question are steel I think they are green)

Thanks, JBD
