Yes that is more than enough needed and you will find that is faster than any longbow or recurve that shoots 160 to 190 ft per second and they kill well enough!
It is arrow placement with a razor sharp broadhead into the vitals that is more important than the speed!!!

I believe Federal Laws say 35 Foot Pounds Minimum, or is that just Wisconsin State law?
