There's a video on the net of a guy who put on 155 t-shirts over one another at the same time, breaking a Guiness World Record and also adding 100 lbs. to his frame.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=r6tlw-oPDBM

This begs the question: is he now bullet-proof? Can these 155 layers of cotton fabric stop a 9mm round from hitting his body? Can it stop more?

ok why do so many people not like the 9mm hand gun? I am looing to buy another gun and have heard people say dont buy a 9mm because it doesnt have enough stopping power. i understand that a 40 and a 45 have more but to be honest dont you think a 45 is over kill for most things except stopping power? ook all so now its your turn to give me your opinion.

Most of the bluing is gone. The walnut stock has been slightly shortened, and a sling swivel added.

My husband and I are going camping for 10 days in Oct. We will be in Central Alabama. The last time we did this, it rained everyday! By the last day we were flooded. It was a mess. A cold, muddy mess.
How can we help from getting rained out in our tent. ( Since this is a stormy time of the year.) Is it possible to get a Canapy big enough to put over the whole tent that has sides that fold down, and if so will that help?

I would like to get my son into hunting, squirell is the best starting point so. What gun? He has shot an adult size 12 guage 2 times but thouhgt it kicked too much. I like the 20 guage or should i get him a .22LR? 20 guage = better chance at getting squirell, .22 less kick , need better accuracy, but cant shoot out of tree just in case he misses. Help

I am going to be hiking and will have a .38 special snubnose revolver with me. I plan on having both regular bullets as well as snakeshot with me for anything I might encounter on the trail. Has anyone ever shot a snake with a .38 special revolver loaded with snakeshot? I am looking for people with 1st hand experience who have shot a snake before. And if so, did it work? Did it take 1 shot or several?

I am trying to find an inexpensive, easy on/off holster for my glock 19. I was looking at the fobus line (paddle) for their inexpensive price tag, but have not have much experience with them. I really like a smooth draw without the tightness and binding you can sometimes get with holsters. Any feedback on what kind of holster works best for some of you, would be great. Keep in mind, I am a thin person, and pancake type holsters have not worked out well for me because the holster curves too much and put friction on my draw. Also, I prefer an easy on off holster (like a paddle). I am also looking for an inside the waistband holster secure enough to hold a glock, and with the trigger protection glock users need. whew! sorry for the mouth full! but thanks for your advice!

me and my friend where carp fishing with two rods each,
my friend went to the shop and while he was gone he had a run on one of his rods. i struck his rod and reald in the
34lb 2oz mirror carp and neted it as he came back, he claimed the fish, said it was on his rod and his rod found the fish. i disagreed but wasnt to fussed about it. he got upset that i said it was my catch. all is cool between us but we are wondering who would actuly have rights to claim the catch.

I want something to cover my eyes and area in paintball under the mask, my neck, ears, and maybe a little on my hands.

To know the level of my effectiveness, I bought a ghillie suit, plan to add natural vegetation, painted my gun with camouflage paint, etc...

But my face-- I already have a ghillie veil. Still, I want something to cover it, facepaint wise.

What would work? I was thinking charcoal.
(Note: Mud may work-- but I would feel kind of gross intentionally doing that because this isn't the US Army and my life doesn't depend on it. Also, oil would be obnoxious with all the mosquitos and such in Wisconsin.
I don't feel comfortable buying makeup at the store-- or even wearng it... even if it is manly makeup. Plus, it's just another thing I don't need.
What natural things would work? (WOULD charcoal do the trick effectively and safely?))
