It depends on the alligator and the boat... if you've just got a little kicker and it's a large gator, I'd say yes. The thing is this... a gator's not going to chase your boat. As a few others have said... "ambush predator" alligators don't chase much of anything, especially if it's not food sized. What happens sometimes though is that someone will come across a gator on a bank or a mud flat and scares it. The gator feels more secure in deeper water than on land, jumps into the water and seems to "chase" or "charge" the boat in question in the process of getting to that deeper water. (Plenty of "attacks" like this on kayaks and canoes around Florida.)
Anyway, there you go.

I hope you found dry land and help! It can also turn it over! It can swim as fast as a person, easily. It depends on the HP of the motor and the weight of the boat and load.

An alligator can lunge its body length lightning fast. As far as any distance is concerened, I would say no. An alligator is an ambush predator. It is not a chaser. It does not have the metabolism or energy to chase.

don't know...are you 2 trying to race?....maybe maybe with the initial burst of 5-10 feet...but it probably couldn't sustain it long....i'd say the small motor boat would win
