Can any one tell me the difference between the Yugo M59/66 SKS and a Yugoslavian SKS

It's a different way of saying the same thing.

There are two models of the Yugoslavian SKS. The most common is the Model 1959/66 or M59/66.

This is the model 1959 but with the modifications that were adopted in 1966, hence 59/66.

The Model 59 is also available and actually preferred, as it doesn't have that useless two pounds of steel at the end of the barrel, which is a grenade launcher.

It looks like someone at this link is done some research. The M59/66 does look like a sweet ride. I actually liked my SKS before I sold it. Never gave me any trouble.
