I personally love the .223, but I don't think that it is strong enough to take down a deer. I want to hear the thoughts of other hunters.

Do you think Wisconsin should allow concealed carry? If it did then permits holders would be allowed to carry in approximately 30 other states around the country through reciprocity agreements. http://evilmandingo.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?p=2#2

I have been using cotton bore mops to clean .223, .243, and .300win mag rifles for a while due to the lower cost. Is there any advantage to the more expensive wool mops for this application?

Does anybody have any experience using a shotgun for Rocky Mountain Elk? I hunt in the High Desert of Eastern Oregon and was considering using my 12ga. with a rifled slugger barrel. Any shot I take would be 100 yards or less and I have never hunted big game with a shotgun before. I know it'll work for deer, but I'm worried there may not be enough knock down power for an elk. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know how effective the No.4 would be if say, my boat was to be attacked by pirates? please, this a serious question!
Would it disable an engine easialy, or be able to sink the enemy vessel? (like a small speedboat?)
I am looking for a weapon to defend my vessel from pirates while in the carribean, and an assault rifle is a legal accident waiting to happen! I think the No.4 would be a good choice, what do you think?

I want to learn how to lead climb. I am very proficient at top roping climbs up to 5.10. I know how to belay, set up top rope anchors on outdoor cliffs, and I have a very basic knowledge of the tools used with lead climbing. I have access to a climbing wall that is part of my schools fitness center. The wall has quick links placed on it for lead climbing, but there is no one here that knows how to lead climb. I am asking if it is possible (read not stupid) to be able for me and a few friends to teach ourselves how to lead climb. Does it matter what kind of rope we use, static or dynamic? Do we need any other equipment besides that which is needed for top roping? Is there any information I need to know before I jump on the wall, (GOOD internet sites, books, . . . )?

My friends and I are interested in going camping this fall here in the NY/NJ/PA area. However, I've never been camping and they're from the South where the falls are ideal. Are the conditions here in the NE good enough for outdoor tent camping in the fall? A lot of the local campgrounds are still open until the end of October. I called some places and they claim the weather is usually good until the end of the season. My biggest concern is the overnight temperatures we could face inside the tent. Any advice, tips? Please help.

Must be ALL mesh-the XL version has 2 large main compartments and 2 smaller one. If you look at the Jansport Big Student backback, that would be the size but still need it to be mesh.

Does anyone know a website/company where I can purchase the device used to "dual stack" MP 5 magazines? Tired of taping them together. Could use something similar for the Colt M4 magazines.
